U2 i+e Tour Leg 1 USA 2015

In May 2015 U2 hits the road again with a tour called "Innocence and Experience Tour". The tour will start with a North American leg that will be followed after the summer by a second and final European leg.

The fist leg visited a total of 10 cities only but they played multiple shows in every stop so the number of shows reached a total of 36. U2 visited Vancouver, San Jose, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Denver, Montreal, Chicago, Toronto, Boston and New York. Opening shows were on May 14th-15th in Vancouver while the final stop was at Madison Square Garden in New York, where they played a total of 8 nights between July 18th and July 31st.

Many crew members confirmed they were traveling with PDFs instead of having a printed itinerary....but as it usually happens, some time later, an itinerary book came up somewhere.

So here it is....completely unexpected but very welcome....itinerary book for the 1st leg of U2's i+e tour.

Cover is quite simple this time. It has a yellow tour logo on a black cover plus a couple of white texts that read "U2 Innocence and Experience tour" and "North America 2015".
By checking the pages, it seems that U2 management printed a few versions of this book, probably because they had to update some of the information included in earlier versions.

The one we are showing here is a version printed on July 17th when the tour was already in New York, the final North American stop.

Dennis had already died by then so the book mentions him as U2's Tour Manager between 1982 and 2105.

It also includes a page with a picture of Dennis and some words about him by the 4 band members.

Unfortunately Dennis was not the only member of the U2 family who died recently. Also Jack Heaslip, Mark Fisher and Run Wrake passed away and are mentioned on the itinerary book together with Dennis Sheehan.

The book includes, as usual, a list of the shows and cities and a list of the tour personnel and companies involved on this "circus".

There is also a page dedicated to the U2 plane, a Boeing 737 that took the band and management form town to town during the 1st leg of the i+e tour. It was later replace by another aircraft when the tour arrived to Europe.

Finally, a page per day is giving the crew all the information they need to know about timings, hotels, trips and so.
